Jalen Green – Vice President

My name is Jalen Green. I am a junior computer science major very passionate about programming. I’m going to put a little about my organization experience. I was on the Black Engineer Society’s Freshmen Committee where I worked with other freshmen to plan fundraising events as well as plan general body meetings for the entirety of the Black Engineer Society. I also worked on the Black Hack sub-organization of the Black Engineer Society which facilitates the instruction of computer science concepts to any person looking to gain more knowledge outside of the classroom. Finally, I have been a part of the Black Student Union’s Black History Month Committee and the Community Service Committee where I helped plan events as well as community service opportunities. My variety of experience with different types of tasks in different organizations is what I believe makes me a good fit for the Vice President position. I plan on making our ACM chapter the known and active organization it once was through the knowledge and skills that I have acquired from my past experiences.
