The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is a multi-tier, team-based, programming competition operating under the auspices of ACM and headquartered at Baylor University. The contest involves a global network of universities hosting regional competitions that advance teams to the ACM-ICPC World Finals. Participation has grown to several tens of thousands of the finest students and faculty in computing disciplines from more than 2 thousand universities from over 91 countries on six continents. The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.
2022 ICPC Announcement
Dear All,
We will be starting preparation of the teams for this year’s ACM ICPC Programming contest (for more information about the contest see below).
The regional contest this year got delayed due to Pandemic and will be entirely virtual on Feb 26, 2022 (Sat) (tentative) (http://www.radford.edu/acm/midatl/).
Generally we have had great success in the past few years, with one of our teams winning or qualifying through the regional event, and doing very well in the World Finals. We are hoping to build upon that this year, and field at least THREE strong teams for the regional event (each team consists of three members). Given past years’ experience, we are
quite confident that one of our teams will make it to the World Finals this year as well.
If you are interested in participating:
- FIRST you need to register for North America Qualifier (NAQ) Programming Contest on Jan 22, 2022 (see the info below; note that each person should register INDIVIDUALLY so that your TEAM is just YOURSELF).
